DOOM: Beta Happening March 31 Confirmed; Bethesda Title to Get 2 New Modes

Bethesda's DOOM has given a handful of news over the course of months since it was announced. The development team behind the game has promised not only a revamped set of features but also some new ones that will make gamers much more excited. Moreover, a beta is set to make its presence felt soon enough to enlighten the fans on what is to come.

According to Time, the highly-critiqued DOOM title may have a lot riding on its back as long-time fans are expecting quite a lot for the latest generation's rendition of the game. So far, it has not disappointed and the multiplayer mode of the game recently showed the world what it's made of as it showed the fans attributes like weapons, the types of demons and even the Revenant morph feature that Bethesda confirmed.

As per Metro, DOOM was also affirmative of having a closed beta after having received multiple rumors of it happening in the past. Bethesda finally declared the closed beta for DOOM will take place on March 31st, Thursday, and is expected to end by Sunday, April 31st. There are some rumors, however, that it could last a bit longer dependent on the possible occurrences that usual betas go through.

It was said that there will be two game modes: a 6v6 Team Death Match and Warpath. Other information about the title has been deprived from the public by Bethesda themselves.

Ecumenical News delivered that DOOM will have another feature apart from the aforementioned ones, namely the DOOM Snap Map. The name may be quite a giveaway, but the title simply states that it will permit the players to create their own maps and share them.

Bethesda's DOOM is confirmed as a reboot instaead of a continuity. The title is still slated for a May 13, 2016 release in which Bethesda may still be using the time to make the game better from where it stands.
