'Empire' Season 2: Trai Byers debunks exit rumors; Luscious regains power?

Trai Byers, who plays as Andre Lyon, debunks the rumors that he is going to exit "Empire" Season 2 while "Pimp My Ride" host Alvin "Xzibit" Joiner will guest star in an upcoming episode. Also, the official plot description of episode 11 'Death Will Have His Day' has been released by FOX Network.

Cast member Trai Byers, who portrays the role of Andre Lyon, finally debunks the rumor that he will be leaving "Empire" via his official Instagram account. Such rumors stemmed when Byers blurted out that he wants to leave the musical tv series because his character did not have a good role in its sophomore season, Hip Hop Wired.

On the other hand, "Pimp My Ride" host Alvin "Xzibit" Joiner has booked an arc for an upcoming episode of "Empire" Season 2. According to Vine Report, the 41-year-old American rapper, actor, TV host, and record producer will be portraying the role of Leslie "Shyne" Johnson. Shyne who is described as 100% wolf and gangster happens to be an artist handler who sells drugs, guns, and extortion.

As for the official plot synopsis of episode 11, Spoilers Guide notes, "The Aftermath. After losing the company he built, Luscious Lyon (Terrence Howard) announces he will stop at nothing to regain his power, but Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson) has her own way of handling things. Meanwhile, Rhonda Lyon (Kaitlin Doubleday), Andre Lyon and the rest of the Lyon family comes to terms with a horrific, life-changing tragedy that changes their lives as they know it."

"Empire" Season 2 Episode 11 is entitled as "Death Will Have His Day". The forthcoming episode is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. exclusively on FOX Network.

"Empire" is an American musical drama TV series created by Lee Daniels and Danny Strong. The show is primarily based in New York and evolves around the drama among the founders and members of the Empire Entertainment as they fight over the control of the hip hop music company.
