The mastermind of Maura's kidnapping, the one who almost blew up Vince and Jane last episode, and all other attacks will probably be unmasked in Episode 18 of 'Rizzoli & Isles' season 6. The detective is still baffled why such person wants her dead and why he is determined to hurt people around her. His reasons for making Jane's life hell may also be known when the episode airs soon.
Last episode, it was Jane's partner Vince who experienced the cruelty of the sneaky criminal. As episode 17 'Bomb Voyage' recap: Vince almost blew himself up when he stepped on a landmine while working on a case. They knew that the villain is expert at explosives. But Jane was not too afraid to leave Vince in the field despite the warning of the Bomb Squad guy. She and Vince had shared some emotional conversations before a suspect hand them the detonator.
The near death experience makes her almost had a nervous breakdown. But she does not have time to let fear get her as she has to track him down. She has to find the getaway car used by the suspect from the murdered state troop.
As per synopsis of 'Rizzoli & Isles' Season 6 episode 18 titled 'A shot in the dark': "When a State Trooper is killed in Maine, the getaway car is traced back to the mastermind of the attacks on Jane. The team must now unravel the mystery of the mastermind's obsession with Jane in order to keep her safe and turn the hunter into the hunted. Meanwhile, Korsak prepares to tie the knot with Kiki."
Meanwhile, 'Odd Couple' actress will be gracing the finale season of 'Rizzoli & Isles'. Yvette Nicole Brown is set to play CJ Prescott. As detailed by TVLine, Brown's role is a character "who possesses an over-the-top passion for her job, will turn up during the TNT drama's upcoming seventh and final season." For now, she is scheduled to appear in an episode next season.
