Michael Schumacher Recovery Update: Sabine Kehm dismisses latest rumors that F1 champ is now walking

By

Former F1 racer Michael Schumacher is still on his way to recovery from the horrific skiing accident in 2013 which left him in an unhealthy state. Several reports have surfaced regarding his condition claiming that he is now able to walk, however, Schumacher's official spokesperson Sabine Kehm has denied false statements.

The media blackout regarding Schumacher's condition is still ongoing and with the lack of official information from the family, several speculations have surfaced regarding his condition. According to The Bitbag, Schumacher was previously rumored to have been able to walk and has been riding on a wheelchair for his treatment.

However, such rumors were eventually countered by Kehm stating that such statements are "irresponsible and offering false hope". As reported by Sportsrageous, Schumacher is currently being treated by experts in the comfort of his own home near the shore in Lake Geneva.

"We know what has happened and cannot change it", Kehm said. "We must accept it and hope with everything we have that with continued support and patience he will one day be back with us. Racing was his life and no one would have liked to have been here more than him.", she added.

Kehm previously stated that Schumacher is making progress in the treatment but also encouraged fans to be patient. Former Ferrari head Luca di Montezemolo has also revealed little about Schumacher's state saying that he has news, and "unfortunately it is not good".

"Life is strange. He was a fantastic driver and only had one accident with Ferrari in 1999,"Montezemolo added. According to Latin Post, the Schumacher family is reportedly spending £115,000 for Michael's treatment. His wife, Corrine, has also filed lawsuits against the tabloids which published unconfirmed details about the racer's condition.

After the horrible event in the French Alps, Schumacher was rushed to the Grenoble Hospital were the doctors called his condition as 'extremely serious'. He also had to undergo a second operation. The family has since requested for privacy on the matter, which was supported by their lawyer, Felix Damm.
