"Days of our Lives" actor Matt Cedeno has been cast as the vampire from the Mikaelson's past in "The Originals" Season 3. Also, The CW has released the official plot description of episode 15 'An Old Friend Calls', and last week's episode is made available here for fans who have missed to watch it.
"Days of our Lives" alum Matt Cedeno officially joins the cast of "The Originals" Season 3. According to TV Line, the 41-year-old American TV actor will be portraying the role of a vampire from the Mikaelson's past. Cortez is described as a callous, smart, and a manipulative vampire who has no regard in human life. Cedeno's character enters the scene as he arrives in the French quarters in New Orleans to seek vengeance in the 15th episode.
As for the official plot of episode 15, Spoilers Guide notes, "Klaus learns that Cortez has arrived in New Orleans, he finds himself forced to deal with this new threat. Meanwhile, when Cortez begins threatening the lives of innocent residents, Vincent has no choice but to help the vampire in his plan to take down Klaus; Marcel turns to Davina for help after several Strix members turn up missing, Elijah confronts Hayley after learning that she's been dealing with Jackson's death in a destructive way."
