‘Suits’ season 5 finale may end in cliffhanger? Will Dr. Paula Agard return in Season 6?

'Suits' season 5 episode 16 or season finale will have something big to offer to the viewers. But with so much going on right now, the finale may end in cliffhanger and be answered in season 6. While important characters will be present in the season 5 finale, Dr. Paula Agard won't be around in episode 16. But she is expected to return next season.

'Suits' season 5 will end on March 2 with 16^th episode titled "25^th Hour." CarterMatt mentioned that episode 16 will be the best episode of the series to date.  As seen in the trailer, Mike Ross told Harvey Specter that it is done but the latter did not think so. This means that Harvey is set to face jail time.

However, Mike Ross is not letting Harvey to go to prison. Before the trailer ends, Mike told Harvey that he is not letting him to be imprisoned for the crime that Mike committed.

As per synopsis of the finale episode of 'Suits' season 5, "As Mike's day of reckoning draws near, it threatens to shatter the lives of those closest to him. Faced with the uncertain outcome of his court battle, Mike makes the one play he has left."

With so much going on, 'Suits' season 5 episode 16 may end in crucial cliffhanger. Although no one teased that this going to happen, some indicators are telling so. In fact, actress Meghan Markle, who plays Rachel Zane, felt unsettled after she read the script of the finale episode.

According to Markle, the script of episode 16 does not make sense. She also revealed that she suggested something to the series creator Aaron Korsh and he was on board with her. But when they are filming the scenes, she has changed her mind as she wants viewers to see the original ending that they had set.

Yibada reports that Korsh revealed to TVLine Dr. Paula Agard won't be around in 'Suits' season 5 episode 16.  He also said, "We couldn't find a way to integrate [her] into the back six, given the path that we chose."

"It does not mean that we've seen the last of her. We would all like to see her again. We're just trying to work on that [for] Episode 601," Korsh confirmed.
