God of War 4: Santa Monica Studios declares positions for GOW Team; Kratos to be replaced by a new protagonist?

Given that God of War 4 is still an uncertainty, Santa Monica Studios may be looking at the potential that the game may have; starting off with the team that is to put the game together. More than that, fans of the franchise are theorizing on what could the next one the franchise is to become.

According to Youth Health Mag, Santa Monica Studios is still on the verge of giving a release date. However, the more intriguing thing that roams the web so far is the need of the development team of certain positions to be filled for a God of War project, in which many presume would be for the next title.

As per Ecumenical News, Santa Monica Studios announced that they are looking for some potential candidates which was indicated on their job board. Such positions include a full time Senior Gameplay Programmer, a Senior Visual Effects Artist, and a Senior Tools Programmer. All the positions will surround the need of being responsible for the developing and maintenance within the animation, navigation, combat tools, visuals, engine technologies and more.

It was delivered by What Culture that speculations continue to rise as to what will be the plot of God of War 4. The most dominant ones include the possibility of Kratos being fully regenerated after all the damage done to him, driven by the will to take on other gods of various mythologies. The same can be said for a potential spin-off that stars Deimos, but what fans may not accept is another prequel. Lastly, gamers are thinking that God of War 4 may be a reboot which is not an impossibility.
