‘Fifty Shades Darker’ Updates: EL James confirms start of production with BTS photo; Two more actresses board film as Ros and Mrs. Jones

Garnering the hearts of millions all over the world during last year's Valentine's day, the sequel to "Fifty Shades of Grey" titled "Fifty Shades Darker" is set to hit the big screen soon. With its nearing premiere, the film has officially started filming, according to author EL James. Meanwhile, two more actresses has officially boarded the long-awaited movie.

Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele's romance will be back on the big screen definitely as the author of the book have posted a photo on Instagram. According to Irish Examiner," Fifty Shades" series author EL James has shared the first day of filming for the sequel on the photo-sharing app. The photo said "Day one #FSD Good luck to all the cast and crew", featuring the production team on a particular scene.

Another good news for the fans is that two new actresses, Fay Masterson and Robinne Lee, have officially joined the cast, as reported by Cosmopolitan. Fay Masterson is set to play the role of Gail Jones who's rumored to be the housekeeper of Mr. Grey while Robinne Lee will play the role of Ros, an executive in the Grey Enterprises Holdings Inc.

Meanwhile, Coming Soon reported that Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson will be back for their roles in the sequel, "Fifty Shades Darker" and the last film, "Fifty Shades Freed". The franchise will continue the pattern of releasing the films during the Valentine's Day of 2017 and 2018 with James Foley as the director and EL James' husband, Niall Leonard, as the scriptwriter.

"Fifty Shades Darker" is the second installment to the film adaptation of best-selling "Fifty Shades" trilogy authored by EL James. Aside from the aforementioned cast members, the sequel will also star Eric Johnson, Bella Heathcote, Arielle Kebbel and Kim Basinger, with Luke Grimes, Eloise Mumford and Max Martini expected to reprise their roles.
