Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia Looks Healthy Before Passing; Texas Judge Investigates Further

It was first announced that the death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia will not be investigated. However, Presidio County Judge Cinderela Guevara of Texas learned that the Justice was healthy looking and was his happy self hours before his death. Now, Judge Cinderela Guevara wants to further investigate the matter.

The Texas judge thought an autopsy wasn't needed when she first talk to Scalia's doctor. Yahoo News reported that Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia's doctor said he has a history of heart trouble, high blood pressure. He was also considered too fragile to go through surgery for a recent shoulder injury. However, that wasn't the situation when Judge Guevara repeated the statements of Scalia's friends. Scalia was in his Texas ranch and was with his friends hours before his death.

Since Supreme Court justices don't disclose their health to the public, his death shocked the nation. ABC News stated that Guevara decided that the Supreme Court Justice died because of his old age. Judge Guevara discussed with Scalia's personal physician and local and federal investigators about his death. According to them, there were no signs of foul play. She also talked about Scalia's health history to a "Dr. Monahan".

Justice Scalia died at age 79. He was appointed by President Ronald Reagan in 1986. According to BBC, he was in a hunting trip in Texas and he died in his sleep early on Saturday. The US Marshals Service confirmed that there was no foul play when they saw Scalia's body. It also appeared that Scalia mentioned to some people that he wasn't feeling well that night as he slept early. His body was taken on Sunday morning and was flown to Virginia at 8p.m. Texas time.

His death is shaking the nation. His death is also splitting further the senate and congress as Democrats and Republicans are arguing about his replacement.
