Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel denies allegation of ex-girlfriend about physical abuse

American Football player Johnny Manziel's ex girlfriend's affidavit claims that she was physically assaulted by Manziel and even threated to end their life during one of their heated conversations. Manziel denied such allegations.

Manziel's former girlfriend, Colleen Crowley, stated in her affidavit that she was hit by Manziel that she lost her hearing in one of her ears and still cannot hear anything from it until now. As reported by The Guardian, the violent encounter happened in late January.

As part of the proceedings, Crowley detailed the incident and the events that lead to it. In the affidavit, Crowley revealed that she went out to dinner with three other friends and went to two other bars where she left her car.

As reported by Dead Spin, Crowley said that they took an Uber to get to the next club where they texted other friends including Manziel about an after party at Hotel ZaZa. The group eventually took Crowley's car and went to the Hotel. Three of Crowley's friends left the hotel, and she was eventually alone with Manziel where they talked about and in quote, "things I had heard earlier in the week about him being with a girl who had caused us problems in the past."

Crowley then told Manziel that she will sleep on the couch if she were to stay in the Hotel, after which Manziel threw her on the bed. She tried to leave, only to be restrained by him. The fight continued until the valet where she asked for help but the valet to no avail.

Manziel allegedly threw her on the passenger seat as he sat on the driver's seat. "As Respondent was backing out of the parking spot, I jumped out of the car and ran across the street and hid behind some bushes", Crowley said.

"He flipped a U-turn and pulled right in to where I was hiding. He grabbed me by my hair and threw me back into the car and got back in himself. He hit me with his open hand on my left ear for jumping out of the car. I realized immediately that I could not hear out of that ear, and I still cannot today, two days later."

Crowley admitted that she hit Manziel in hopes to get out of the car but Manziel hit her head on the window and she fell on the passenger floorboard. She was pulled up by Manziel and told her to stop while refusing to give her phone.

According to Daily News, Crowley tried to console Manziel at which point Manziel simply laughed in response. Crowley cried in fear and was subsequently told by Manziel to, "Shut up or I'll kill us both!". The incident continued until in Crowley's apartment where she took a knife and advanced towards him. Manziel ran out of the apartment which gave Crowley a chance to ask for help from the neighbor.

Crowley eventually got the restraining order she asked for to ensure her safety from Manziel for two years. Manziel has since denied such allegations thrown at him by Crowley. He is expected to be taken out from the Browns next month.
