Finnish Teenager Arrested on suspicion for Terrorism Plot in London

A Finnish teenager was arrested in London after the teen was discovered plotting terrorism. The teen was charged was charged with terrorism offences. Police says, the teen was accused of "engaging in conduct in preparation for giving effect to intention to commit acts of terrorism".

According to the Guardian, a 19 year old Finnish national, Cubeyda Hassan Jama was charged after authorities learned the teenager was planning to terrorize the city. Jama was arrested by the Metropolitan police detective at Stansted Airport on Friday on their counter terrorism command.

Jama, a Finnish descent had been living in London Road, Thorton Heath. Croydon Advertiser reported, he is schedule to appear on court trial at Westminster Magistrates on Monday. The charged terrorism offences were stated under the Terrorism Act 2006.

Last year, a British teenager was also arrested and pleaded guilty on the terrorism offences plotting terrorism during Australian war remembrance ceremonies. According to Wall Street journal, the boy is known the youngest one who pleaded guilty of terrorism in Britain. However, under the British law, the teen's identity and age was referred only in court trial as "S".

In February, three school girls from east London, Shamima Begum and Amira Abase, both 15, and Kadiza Sultana, 16, fled their east London homes to join the Islamic State terror group in Syria. Another teenager, Kazi Jawad Islam, an 18 year old was also charged similarly under Section Five of the Terrorism Act 2006. The Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre raised the terror level against a backdrop of hundreds of British jihadists travelling to Iraq and Syria.

Cubeyda Hassan Jama is just among the teenagers, plotting terrorism and eventually, will flee out of the country to fight alongside terror groups like Islamic State. Teenager's involvement in terrorism, adding the increase in teenage terror suspects was an emerging trend.
