A police sergeant, German Bosque, has been deemed the most fired officer in Florida's history. He has been fired a total of eight times -six by his most recent employer, the Opa-Loca Police Department. He is fighting to get his job back, UPI.com reported.

In a hearing Wednesday, Opa-Locka said Bosque should be fired for the ninth time for leaving his ar 15 rifle in the care of a security guard, the father of his girlfriend, who is now his fiance.

He has previously been fired eight times by three departments in Florida, CBS4Miami said.

In the past years, Bosque faced allegations including a string ov violent actions, including "busting the skull" of a handcuffed suspect, while beating juveniles, having drugs in a patrol car, falsifying reports and conducting an unauthorized car chase where four people were killed, UPI.com reported.

"It's allegations. Allegations are not convictions," said his attorney Andrew Axelrad.

"Anyone can legally purchase this weapon" referring to the assault weapon left.

"Not just anyone can purchase one from the Opa-locka police department," city attorney Joe Geller.

A decision in the case is expected to be issued in 60 to 90 days.
