‘World of Warcraft: Legion’ updates: Details of Suramar zone and Neltharion’s Lair leaked

By

New details about the places gamers can explore in the upcoming "Legion" expansion pack for "World of Warcraft" have been revealed. These include Suramar and Neltharion's Lair, which is the home of the villainous dragon known as Deathwing.

As reported by Kotaku, which was able to obtain screenshots of Suramar, the zone is an updated and improved version of the same environment which was introduced in "World of Warcraft 3." According to the site, this is the home of the Kaldorei, a race of nomadic humanoids.

The gaming news site noted that for "Legions", developer Blizzard Entertainment seemed to have integrated various areas from "Warlords of Draenor" such as the Howling Fjord, Shadowmoon Valley and Eversong Woods. However, the leaked images, which were posted by user Red Shirt Guy in the Scrolls of Lore forum page, only show the alpha version of Suramar. This means it is still in its early development phase and will most probably feature a more detailed and textured appearance once the final version of the expansion pack arrives.

Aside from Suramar, details of the Neltharion Lair were also unveiled online. According to The Bit Bag, this new dungeon was introduced to testers of the game's alpha build.

It houses Deathwing, a dragon who built a large army to kill everyone in Azeroth. Gamers can venture into this area to take on the villain and its minions but it is not yet clear what new items can be found inside the dungeon.

The site also noted the new armor for the Demon Hunter class was unveiled in the alpha version of "Legion". This Tier 19 armor will only be available to characters who are at least at level 100 or higher and will come in Horde, Heroic, Alliance and Normal colors.

"World of Warcraft: Legion," which is the sixth expansion pack in the WoW franchise, is expected to arrive during the third or fourth quarter of this year. As a PC game, it will be available for the Microsoft Windows and OS X systems.
