Elite Dangerous: Horizons has stayed on the good side of the fans since it was announced. Now that the game is officially on another milestone of their future success, more news are bound to hit the public in due time to continue the ever-growing hype.

According to Twinfinite, Frontier Developments' entire team believes that the community behind the crowd-funded title has indeed pushed the barriers of possibilities for more Elite Dangerous: Horizons improvements. Frontier Developments also revealed one particular achievement that makes a distinct mark to the public, saying that Elite Dangerous: Horizons is certainly one to take seriously.

Previous reports noted Frontier Development CEO David Braben declared that Elite Dangerous reached over 1.4 million units for the PC, Xbox One and Mac towards the end of December 2015. This may have triggered more updates for the company to include, and as of the moment, the company chooses to not disclose the entirety of what those may be.

Gaming Target delivered that Elite Dangerous is one of the games that set a bar in terms of virtual reality application ever since the launch of their first alpha test back in December 2013. It can be recalled that last year, Elite Dangerous was the pioneer triple A game that bestowed upon the players complete Steam VR Support as per the team themselves.

Elite Dangerous: Horizons is currently in Early Access and amounts to a mere $59.99 on Steam. The title is considerably a standalone title that does not need installation of Elite Dangerous Season 1 in order to be enjoyed by a player. PC gamers that already have the said game will be provided a 25% discount.

Keep posted for more news on the exciting space travel simulation title by Frontier Development known as Elite Dangerous: Horizons as it further moves on to a more successful 2016 ahead.
