PC racing simulator Assetto Corsa will be available for consoles this year as game developer confirmed. Also, details of the cover cars are revealed bringing more excitement to the racing fans.

IGN has shared the announcement of Kunos Simlazioni that PC racing simulator Assetto Corsa will be arriving on April 22 this year for Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The PS4 version will run at full high definition while the version for Xbox One at 900p.

The source cited Kunos Simulazioni's Marco Massarutto, co-founder to the Italian studio, saying that they did everything to bring Assetto Corsa in full HD for Xbox One but there was no way for them to do it.

Assetto Corsa follows the pure physics realism. The console versions contain over 100 cars and 20 different track configurations. The PS4 and Xbox One owners will also enjoy the DLC for the PC released over the past 12 months as it will also be launched on April, IGN added.

Kunos Simulazioni's decision to pass to consoles the full PC performance and experience of Assetto Corsa stemmed from the likes of Gran Turismo and Forza as well as the eminent anticipations of the racing fans, iDigital observed. As the development team honored that the PC simulator racing game Assetto Corsa is dedicated to realism, they will finally cross the line as they bring the game to Xbox One and Playstation 4 soon.

True Achievements disclosed Kunos Simulazioni released a video revealing the cover star featured car for the game. The Ferrari FXX-K is an exceptionally superior version of Ferrari LaFerrari which uses KERS system found in racing cars. Other high-performance cars include the Team Lotus 98T, the Pagani Zonda R, the Ferrari LaFerrari, the Mercedes C9 and the McLaren 650S GT3.

Assetto Corsa is a sim racing video game developed by the Italian video game developer Kunos Simulazioni released in 2014 for PC. It will be available for PS4 and Xbox One in April 22, 2016.
