Irish nanny, Aisling Brady McCarthy accused of killing a one year old infant, plans to sue the doctors and prosecutors who falsely pointed her to the crime. The former nanny also attempts to move forward with her life after the charges was dropped.

The 37-year Irish woman who was charge with a murder of a baby named Rehma Sabir was sentence to life in prison in 2013. However, after battling in court, McCarthy was released in August after the charges were dropped as the evidence did not sum up. The former nanny now plans to sue the doctors and prosecutors who prosecuted her despite the infant were revealed suffering from a sickness that leads to her death, Daily Mail reported.

McCarthy was sent to jail for over two years following the accusations of violently shaking the head and killing the infant in Cambridge. The Boston website cited, the authorities released her after they dropped the charges. From living 15 years in Boston, the former nanny flew back to her homeland in Ireland and started her new life.

However, her new life was not easy. Despite being clean from the charges, the previous accusations still greatly affected her, when it comes to finding a new job.

According to Boston Globe, she was instantly suspected of inflicting the infant after the cause of death was identified by a doctor as a violent head trauma. McCarthy was then arrested by 10 police officers who appeared on her home in Wollaston and was locked up in jail in Framingham.

However, despite the unfortunate events that happened to her, McCarthy felt fortunate with her two lawyers, David Meier and Mindy Thompson. The fearless and relentless lawyers gave her hope as the charges against her started to collapse. Even her fellow prisoners believed in her innocence.

McCarthy also explains she don't want to dwell on the years she have lost in jail. However, she wants the people who wrongly accused her to be held accountable. "They weren't just wrong in my case, they were reckless. And they never lost a minute's sleep. They just moved on to the next case. I want to expose this because I don't want it to happen to anyone else," she said.

McCarthy also plans to catch the attentions of other fellow people who were also charged with shaken-baby syndrome. Despite the lack of proper evidence, they can go against them by filing suits in civil court.
