The wait for news on Killer Instinct Season 3 may shine more rays of light to the fans as developer Iron Galaxy Studios has divulged information that will be most exciting to the hardcore gamers. A period wherein the game can be played, the newest character and the release dates are only some of the information that the team behind the game are ready to disseminate.

According to IGN, the much-awaited Killer Instinct Season 3 has a whole array of new attributes up its sleeves, and one of the biggest announcements for the tailing fans would be the opportunity to play the game for the first time. On January 29th to the 31st, fans can get their hands on the title via the PAX South event as well as on January 30th to the 31st through the KI Cup event. Both of these events will be held in San Antonio, Texas.

Delivered by Event Hubs, fans have diligently asked about the characters that the game holds, and the latest one has been agreed upon by many to be a smart addition. Rash from Battletoads was recently confirmed of being included as the game's pioneer guest character, and will officially be joining the roster with Kim Wu and a series classic, Tusk.

Christian Post noted that apart from the latest character additions, fan can also anticipate some updates to the system to perhaps correct some of the previous calls of fans. As of the moment, Killer Instinct was confirmed of having a new feature in which a staggering effect will induce an opponent to fall back for a split second and will provide a frame advantage for a follow up attack or even a throw.

Iron Galaxy Studios' Killer Instinct Season 3 is still an uncertainty for many as of the moment and as far as a release date is asked, the continuity to the series is expected to arrive by March of this year. Stay tuned for further news on the next entry of the 2D brawler series.
