Zayn Malik wants Gigi Hadid to meet his family over the holidays

Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid just made it official last month and the couple's relationship seems to be climbing up notches as the male hunk is already rumored planning to officially introduce his Victoria's Secret model girlfriend to his family over the holidays.

The supermodel visited the former One Direction member's place where he is staying in London after her photo shoot in the country and spent the weekend at Malik's home before she went back to Los Angeles for Christmas. She definitely had fun in her trip as she came back beaming smiles at the airport.

Despite the positive development, Malik may have to compromise his plan of letting her meet his parents as Hadid has reportedly agreed to go on a vacation with her family this Christmas. Nevertheless, this still indicates that the 22-year-old singer is serious about his present relationship.

Hadid, on the other hand, may be freaking out over Malik's suggestion of taking it to the next level quickly as it was revealed that the 20-year-old hates clingy boyfriends. Contrary to the lack of time for one another as the initially revealed cause of the breakup of Hadid and Joe Jonas, a source tells an online publication that the young model felt smothered and suffocated which she did not like in relationships.

"He was obsessed with her and has been for a long time. He was texting and calling her even when she was with Cody. He smothered her and wanted her to come on tour with him," recalls the source referring to Joe Jonas via exclusive interview.

Malik may need to think things through and give it a little more time before he rushes things and ends up being dumped like the fate of the model's ex-boyfriends.

"She really likes him, but in her previous relationships the guys got very clingy and she hopes he doesn't fall into the same patterns," says the source.

Hadid, as has been said, values her freedom very much and she wants the fun she has while dating him dictate the future of their relationship which seems to be going well as evidenced by the intimate picture posted in Zayn Malik's Instagram account when she visited him on Sunday, December 20.
