David Arquette and Courtney Cox Officially Split-Up

LOS ANGELES, Cal. - After 13 years of marriage, "Scream" star David Arquette filed for divorce from his wife, "Friends" star Courteney Cox.

Arquette filed for divorce Friday citing irreconcilable differences at a Los Angeles Superior Court. According to reports by the Washington Times, Arquette stated that he would represent himself. He is not asking for any financial support. However, the 40-year old actor is seeking joint physical and legal custody of their seven year old daughter - Coco Riley Arquette.

The two actors met on the sets of the 1996 box-office Scream, and married in 1999, three years later. They announced their separation in 2010. In a joint statement released the ex-couple stated "We remain best friends and responsible parents to our daughter and we still love each other deeply," as reported by the Washington Times.

The 47-year old actress is best known for her role as Monica in the hit NBC comedy 'Friends'. Her other notable characters include Michael J. Fox's love interest in the hit show 'Family Ties' and the protagonist in the recent 'Cougar Town.' Arquette is best remembered for his role in the 'Scream' franchise, in addition to a few appearances on sitcoms such as 'My name is Earl, and 'Cougar Town,' he has also played a number of supporting roles in many movies.

Arquette recently (Monday this week) had a bar mitzvah ceremony in Jerusalem.
