By

VANCOUVER, Canada. - Montreal Police confirm that the body parts discovered yesterday in two Vancouver schools are in fact related to the Magnotta case. Police say that the body parts discovered is from the victim Lin Jun, who was alleged to be Magnotta's lover.

The packages contained a human hand and foot. Police Commander Ian Lafreniere told BBC News that "They were the same limbs we were looking for," referring to the missing body parts of 33-year-old Jun.

Also police divulged that the body parts sent to political parties in Montreal were accompanied by some notes; however refuse to reveal what the notes said.

Magnotta, 29, a Canadian porn star who participated in bisexual porn videos online, is accused of gruesomely killing a Chinese classmate, cutting up his body parts and then sending them to various political parties through mail in Montreal. Investigators also claim that Magnotta had eaten some of the victim's body parts.

Magnotta was arrested Monday after an employee in a Berlin cyber café recognized him from the newspapers. Magnotta had fled to Paris, France and then to Berlin, Germany. The capture of Magnotta was a huge victory for police enforcement. According the Montreal Gazette, the police Commander of Montreal called the search for the alleged killer "the biggest in the Montreal force's history." The search has since involved Interpol and 30 investigators from France's national fugitive search unit.

The Canadian authorities are still working with those of Germany to speed up the process of transferring Magnotta back to Montreal where he will be trialed for the alleged killing.
