Canadian pop star Justin Bieber seems to be missing former girlfriend Selena Gomez.

Hollywood Life reported that last November 26, the 20-year-old singer posted a photo of himself on his Shots page, looking sad and gloomy.

In the picture, he was shown sitting alone in front of the grill at a hibachi restaurant with only the chef to accompany him. He captioned the photo, "Hibachi alone isn't as fun."

According to the site, the post seemed to be directed to his ex-girlfriend and "Heart Wants What It Wants" singer, a move he made in an effort to rekindle their romance. However, a source revealed that this trick may not be effective in getting the 22-year-old songstress back in Bieber's arms.

"Justin really has to show a major effort if he wants to win Selena back. At this point, she doesn't have any faith in him keeping his word to her. He would have to get on one knee and propose. It would have to be that extreme," an insider told Hollywood Life.

Meanwhile, new rumors claimed that Gomez recently suffered an anxiety attack after dealing with a pregnancy scare, a month after she broke up with Bieber.

According to International Business Times, Hollywood Life reported that Gomez experienced nausea which is a symptom common to pregnant women.

A source allegedly told the site that the singer's condition got worse that "she spent several days confined in her bed."

The insider added that Gomez freaked out and panicked after realizing that she could be pregnant with Bieber's child.

A friend then reportedly came to her rescue and brought her to a doctor to undergo a pregnancy test. The site reported that Gomez allegedly felt relieved after the results came out negative.

However, neither Gomez nor her representatives have made any confirmation and comments regarding the matter.
