A new report revealed that the teaser trailer for "Jurassic World" will be bumped off to a December release.

According to the "Jurassic Park" fan website, jurassicworld.org, the trailer will be released with "The Hobbit 3" on December 17 instead of its previously scheduled debut with "Interstellar" this November.

"I just got word that the theatrical trailer has been pushed back to debut with The Hobbit.  This is for strategic reasons and not because of any actual delay with getting it ready.  Universal is choosing to debut the Fast 7 trailer on Interstellar instead. Whether or not they still choose to debut it online in November, I have no idea," an insider revealed to the site.

This news shocked and disappointed many fans who were already very excited to see the trailer of the adventure flick.

Unfortunately, a teaser for "Jurassic World" will also not be shown during the MCM London Comic Con this weekend. This is because of the high risk that someone might film the teaser and will leak it online.

While the debut of the trailer of the much-awaited sci-fi movie has been moved, Universal has recently released its official movie poster. The "Jurassic World" movie poster showcased both a familiar and a new design.

As with the posters of the previous installments, this movie poster still featured the popular open-mouthed T-Rex dinosaur outline along with the title beneath it. However, the movie poster for this new installment is featured in a grayscale, unlike the previous ones that were in color.

"Jurassic World" is the fourth installment of Michael Crichton's sci-fi adventure thriller "Jurassic Park." It will feature movie stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Irrfan Khan and Nick Robinson among others.

The movie is reportedly in its post-production stage already. The story is set to take place 22 years after the events of the original "Jurassic Park" movie.

"Jurassic World" is scheduled to hit theaters in June 12, 2015.
