Couple Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi seemed happy as they recently celebrated their 6^th year anniversary.

De Rossi even surprised her wife with a sky message with the word "six" written in white across the blue background.

The daytime talk show host then later posted a photo on her Twitter account with the caption that read, "Look what my wife did for our wedding anniversary."

This is good news for their followers as the couple is rumoured to be having marital problems.

According to Gossip Cop, Star magazine reported that the couple's marriage is hanging by a thin thread. The site added that actress also wants to move out of their house with DeGeneres and is trying to buy back her old apartment.

The site reported that the tabloid said that de Rossi is trying to convince the owner of her old West Hollywood penthouse to sell the residence back to her for sentimental reasons. However, her friends are allegedly questioning her motive.

A source also told People last month that the two are going through rough times.

"They've had their ups and downs. Portia has been very outspoken about previous issues, like her eating disorder, and she's good at seeking help when she needs to," revealed the source.

The insider added, "They've worked out difficulties in the past, and no doubt they're trying to work out any problems right now."

However, DeGeneres just dismissed the speculations.

"One tabloid said Portia's leaving me because she doesn't like moving a lot. Which is funny because she is overseeing the construction of our new house and loving it," the talk show host told the magazine.

DeGeneres added, "The truth is, and this is corny, I fall more in love with Portia all the time."

She also joked about it during an appearance in Jimmy Kimmel Live.

"I read that we were getting divorced, and I went and told [De Rossi], and she was sad. We both were so sad."
