'Criminal Minds' Season 10 Cast Spoilers: New character revealed; Showrunner Erica Messer dishes out details about Jennifer Love Hewitt’s role

As CBS hit crime series "Criminal Minds" is inching closer towards the tenth installment, more and more details about the upcoming season surface on social media.

In a recent post of by the official Twitter account of "Criminal Minds," a hilarious exerpt of the script from the show's episode 4 entitled "The Itch" was released, Enstars reported. The script shows a dialogued between the Derek Morgan, played by Sherman Moore, and a supposed new character named Doug Adams.

In the photo captioned "Page 9 from #CriminalMinds EP10x04 'The Itch.' #tablereadfunnies #breenfrazier," the script writer of the show left a funny note for Moore, asking to make some tweaks on his line.

"Morgan: That shirt you're wearing is a fly shirt. [Or whatever awesom.e saying Shemar comes up with that doesn't sound like a white, nerdy writer wrote it]"

Meanwhile, recent reports about season 10 of "Criminal Minds" hint at the portrayal of "Ghost Whisperer" alumna and new cast Jennifer Love Hewitt who will play the role of new character Kate Callahan.

Citing reports from TV Line, Kpopstarz told that Showrunner Erica Messer revealed complete details about the Hewitt's role.

"Kate is smart, charming, and wise for her years. Her background is criminal psychology, and her passion comes from wanting to make the world a safe place," the executive producer explained. "She's had a lot of personal loss that makes her a patriot and a nurturing figure to those in her personal and work families"

Serving FBI for eight long years, Kate is also considered a veteran of the bureau. Kate may not also find it difficult to penetrate the BAU team as she is already familiar and even friends with the some members of the group. Messer also said that the character of Hewitt will be revealed "pretty quickly" as the show progresses.

"The rapport feels like friends catching up. If feels like she's always been here," told Messer.

"Criminal Minds" Season 10 is slated to make its comeback on October 1st only on CBS.
