Not a lot of information has been made official about the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII film except for the confirmed cast, which includes Star Wars veterans Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, and Carrie Fisher. While that news excited a lot of fans, there's also talk of a rumored plot and who the new actors added to the film will be cast as.

While fans know so little and can only rely on rumors (for now, at least,) here comes yet another speculation courtesy of The Irish Mirror saying that WWE champ Sheamus O'Shaunessy could be flirting with the dark side of the Force by playing Sith Lord, Darth Vader.

Shemaus tweeted, "I can't confirm that I won't not be reprising the role of Darth Vader in #StarWars... I hope that's clear @IrishMirror ;)"

Cinema Blend reported that the WWE star had stayed near Skellig Michael, an island just off the coast of Ireland - and where Episode VII was shooting. Cinema Blend also added that Sheamus had played the villain before on promotional tours for Episode I.

Meanwhile, Game N Guide said that Sheamus is approximately the same height as David Prowse, the original suit actor who played Vader. On the other hand, Hayden Christensen, who played the Sith Lord in the last few scenes of Revenge of the Sith was five inches shorter.

Screen Rant pointed out that the most plausible way Darth Vader could return in Episode VII  is through a flashback. It also said that rumors were floating around that Carrie Fisher's daughter, Billie Lourd, would play the younger version of Princess Leia in a flashback sequence, making it possible that something similar could be done for other classic trilogy characters. It also added that Vader could also appear in a Luke-centric flashback or vision.

Making the flashback theory more plausible is Mark Hamil's interview with BBC News last July at the UK premiere of Guardians of the Galaxy. Hamill, who sported what he calls a "contractually obligated beard" told BBC that, "I thought even if they did a third trilogy, we wouldn't be involved, because it is really about the new generation of characters."
