A San Diego jury found former major-league outfielder Jacque Jones liable for distributing a nude photo of his ex-girlfriend, and he was ordered to pay nearly $67,000 in damages, according to court records from last month's trial obtained by USA TODAY Sports.

A woman referenced only as Jane Doe filed the revenge-porn lawsuit in October 2017, which led to Jones' suspension as the Washington Nationals' hitting coach. He was not retained that offseason.

The trial spanned about three full days before the 12-member panel rendered its decision after less than a day of deliberations on Feb. 21, Jane Doe's attorney, Rory Pendergast, told USA TODAY Sports. Deadspin was the first outlet to report the verdict on Thursday.
