It is still in a controversy that Michael Flynn misled his senior officials about his phone conversations with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. Relating to this issue there has been more questions rising on Donald McGhan and on Flynn's resignation.

Reports state that it is still unclear what Donald McGhan the White House counsel has done, it is also crucial to ask McGhan what he did with the information and why.  On the other hand Flynn has been in review and evaluation on a daily basis for weeks by trying to discover the truth, reported LawFare.

The White House counsel briefed and determined that there is no legal issue, but rather a trust issue. The trust level between General Flynn and the President had battered to a point where he felt a change was necessary. 

While the President was briefed on this issue by the White House counsel, he instinctively thought that General Flynn did not do anything wrong. However, the issue had raised more question and puzzles on Donald McGhan and General Flynn.

General Flynn lost his job as National Security Adviser after just 24 days, it is believed that this is because he offered potentially illegal secret assurances to the Russian Ambassador. The General made it clear that there was nothing illegal or any other information, which crossed the line reported the Washington Post.

Some questions were unpredictable such as Donald Trump authorizing Flynn to tell the Russians before his inauguration. Other questions also arose that why is Trump planning to stand by Flynn. A question was also raised against McGhan asking, what he did when the acting attorney general notified him last month that Flynn was potentially vulnerable to Russian blackmail.

General Flynn was also interviewed by the FBI for this issue, as per the reports Trump has named Keith Kellogg a decorated retired Army Lieutenant General to replace General Flynn.
