The NBA trade deadline is just near the horizon with only two weeks left before the Feb. 23 deadline. One constant name that keeps popping up in trade discussions and rumors is the Cleveland Cavaliers All Star Kevin Love. There are a lot of speculations about Kevin Love's future with the Cavaliers, but the defending NBA champions seems likely to put an end to all those speculations.

On Monday, the Cleveland Cavaliers said that Kevin Love is not going anywhere and they are not trading the All Star forward/center, according to ESPN. Love has been the subject of trade discussions the past few weeks involving the New York Knicks All Star forward Carmelo Anthony.

Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Lue has also denied reports that LeBron James is pushing the Cavaliers front office to trade Kevin Love for his friend Carmelo Anthony. Lue said that the league source that was cited by New York Daily News did not come from the Cavaliers and that Love is not going anywhere.

"Not coming from our end," Cleveland Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue said when asked about the New York News Daily report. "Kevin should be happy that teams want him. But he's not going anywhere."

Cleveland Cavaliers general manager David Griffin also denied the report. Griffin told ESPN's Michael Wilbon after the Cavaliers 140-135 overtime win against the Washington Wizards that LeBron James did not push him to trade Kevin Love to the New York Knicks.

This is not the first time Kevin Love has been involved in trade discussions. Ever since Love joined the Cavaliers back in the summer of 2014, his name has been mentioned in different trade scenarios at different times.

The latest trade discussion that involved Kevin Love is the one with the New York Knicks Carmelo Anthony. The New York Knicks are pushing the Cleveland Cavaliers for a Kevin Love for Carmelo Anthony trade. The Cavaliers have told the Knicks that they have no interest in trading Love, ESPN reported.
