Being the apart of "Game of Thrones," HBO revealed that they are discussing the possibility of a spinoff series. This means there might be chances that a new "Game of Thrones" series will arrive after the show wraps up in 2018 reported Screen Rant.

There is still a long wait for "Winds of Winter" as the book is said to be releasing on October 10, 2017. But that will not seem to be a problem because Season 7 is going to be aired sometime in April and that is sure to keep them satisfied for a while.

According to the Independent, the works are said to be edited by various authors, including long time Martin collaborator Gardner Dozois. The other authors will be Matthew Hughes, Scott Lynch, Robin Hobb, Gareth Nix, Ellen Kushner and many others.

On the other hand HBO recently released the first footage from Season 7, starring the (Lord Commander) Jon Snow, Arya Stark and Sansa Stark. However, the new story is believed to be completely different from the current events of "Game of Thrones." Nothing is known for sure if there will be more dragons or iron thrones, but it is certain that there will be new characters to add to the charisma.

Fans are excited and happy to know about the new "Game of Thrones" story and its confirmed release date. It's just a matter of time for Season 7 to hit television and the "Winds of Winter" to follow.
