Antonio Banderas' work-out session turned into a life-threatening situation when he suffered from chest pains that required immediate medical attention.

The 56-year-old actor had an "episode" where he felt chest pains that he described as "agonizing." According to UsWeekly, Banderas was sent to St. Peter's Hospital in Chertsey.

Despite the alarming incident, Banderas recovered and has reportedly been released from the hospital. The "Desperado" star gave his gratitude to the medical staff that attended to him.

Meanwhile, Banderas has grown accustomed to his new home in Surrey, England. The "Zoro" actor has moved to the country since 2015.

The longtime Hollywood actor was even invited to Prince Charle's Christmas bash. Banderas and his girlfriend Nicole Kempel were among the 50 guests that were invited to the royal soiree, according to TheOlivePress.

Prince Charle's Christmas party took place in his Scottish mansion, Dumfries House. Aside from the "Desperado" actor, the prince also invited a handful of prominent Spanish personalities

The royal party was undoubtedly a grand affair given the prince's notable Hispanic guests. Banderas dined with the likes of TV Host Isabel Preysler, famous bullfighter Enrique Ponce and Spanish model Nieves Alvarez.

Apart from partying, Banderas shared that he enjoys being surrounded by nature nowadays. The Hispanic actor used to live a life full of extravagant parties.

However, the move to a multi-million dollar mansion in Surrey changed his perspective dramatically. Banderas explained that he is no longer a "party person."

The renewed actor expressed that he now enjoys watching the various animals that come into his garden. Banderas also mentioned that he's currently working on several scripts.

The Spanish star is enjoying the fact that he now has the "space and peace" to get inside his head and come up with material to write. The overall change in scenery pushed the Hollywood actor to turn-over his life of partying and surround himself with nature.
