Barely a month from the highly-awaited Mobile World Congress, Sony is now understandably all jazzed up in letting the crowd know that it is definitely back in its business. And with five reported smartphones under its belt, the smartphone manufacturer is now surely ahead of the game. Crowning its marketing glory is the latest video release of a refreshed version of Sony Xperia XA (2017).

Via his channel, YouTuber TechLover HD has released  the prototype version of Sony Xperia XA (2017). In it, the forthcoming smartphone is seen to be armed with large bezels, notably on its top and bottom areas. It is also coming with a sleek, black finish that seems to be typical in terms of Sony's known aesthetics on its smartphones. This particular coating has already been seen on Sony Xperia XZ and other Xperia X series devices.

Dubbed with the model number G3121, this year's Sony Xperia XA is also revealed to be coming with a groundbreaking 23-megapixel rear camera. The upcoming device has also been outed with a pre-installed Android 7.0 Nougat. Other notable revelations that were showcased in the video are the device's positioning of its front-facing camera and its USB-C port. Meanwhile, stereo speakers that could both appear on its top and bottom bezels have also been spotted.

Now, while Sony has not confirmed the significant sighting of Sony Xperia XA (2017) yet, it is fairly likely that the device is legitimate as both of its software and security patch are recent.

Sony Xperia XA was first released on Feb. 2016. The mid-ranged device is sporting a 5.0-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen and is fueled by MediaTek MT6755 Helio P10. Also, it is equipped with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The device is armed with 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing snapper.
