Prepare to up your "Minion" language as the gang of Kevin, Bob and the rest of their species are now all scheduled to shower your screens again with too much adorableness.

Deadline has reported that Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment have announced that Minions 2, which was originally scheduled to be released on July 10, 2020, has been moved up on July 3, 2020. One of their most bankable releases as of late, 2015's "Minions" was able to gross a whopping $1.115 billion globally with $336 million of which were taken from stateside.

Meanwhile, the animation frontrunner has also announced two of its biggest sequels "The Secret Life of Pets 2" and "Sing 2" on new release dates. Accordingly, the sequel of the Chris Renaud-directed animation will be opened on July 3, 2019. It was initially scheduled for a July 13, 2018 release. On the other hand, musical film's sequel is headed for a Dec. 25, 2020 release.

As per Forbes, the new date of the sequel of "The Secret Life of Pets" will be dueling against the second installment of the rebooted "Spider-man: Homecoming 2." As far as the release dates are concerned, none of these films have yet to reschedule. "Pets'" sequel is also predicted to go heavy with its opening as the first film catapulted the powerhouse company with a staggering $103 million last July 2016. As such, the Sandra Bullock-starring film "Minions" garnered $115 million in its opening in July of 2015. Its accomplishment is now the third-biggest animated film debut to date.

Along with "Despicable Me," Illumination is now set to deliver four upcoming installments in the coming years. Now, it would be interesting to see whether all of these animated outings will be able to rival or even outpace what DreamWorks Animation had showcased at its peak when blockbuster entries such as "Shrek" and "How To Train Your Dragon" were able to generate massive box-office results.
