U.S. President Trump decided to redirect U.S. foreign policy by withdrawing the United States from Trans Pacific Partnership as one of his first executive orders. He also signed two other executive orders that revamp the previous administration’s policy.

In his first Monday at the Oval Office, President Trump ended the U.S. involvement in the Trans Pacific Partnership as his first executive order according to report from CNN. His swift action indicated that he fulfilled his promise during the presidential campaign to end the agreement which he deemed as harmful to American workers and manufacturing industries.

"Great thing for the American worker, what we just did," he said.

Prior to sign his first executive order to withdraw from the TPP, president Trump has declared his intention to renegotiate the NAFTA agreement with Canada and Mexico. He said that he will negotiate a terms which will be more beneficial to the U.S. in the agreement which was signed more than 20 years ago.

Following his first executive order, president Trump signed his second one on the same day to freeze all federal workers hiring process except for military as reported by ABC News. His third and final order is to reaffirm existing law to prohibit federal funding for foreign NGO that promote abortions.

President Trump said that he considers Monday Jan. 23 as his first real working day following his inauguration on Friday. However, the president was busy over the past weekend by visiting the CIA on Saturday and addressing the members of U.S. intelligence community. While on Sunday he swore in White House senior staffs.

Meanwhile White House press secretary Sean Spicer held his first press briefing by reiterating his concern of false report regarding the crowd’ size during the president Trump inauguration. He said that the intention of the White House administration is to be honest with the American people.
