The hunt for all things related to Nintendo's new handheld console is still at large. Ever since the reveal of the Nintendo Switch and its capabilities a few weeks ago, fans have been clammoring to get their hands on any piece of information. Perhaps what is even more surprising is that a couple of days after the console's reveal, Game Stop, a common distributor for video games, consoles, and all things video game-related, had to tell their customers that reservations for the Nintendo Switch had been sold out. While many fans were elated to know they were able to reserve one just in time, the others that missed out on the chance are left scurrying for other places that will give reservations like Game Stop did. In the midst of such activity, we can only look on to what has been confirmed for the system including the games that will inevitably make their debut.

Time claims that the total number of titles that will be released on the new Nintendo Switch will amount to seven. This strikes quite a bit of concern, however, as this number of releases is quite small compared to amount of releases for other consoles, such as the PS4 which has 25 titles when it debuted in 2013 or Microsoft's Xbox One which had 22 titles in that same year of its release. As stated before in previous news, Nintendo does indeed like to stick to its franchises, so it is more than likely that Nintendo still has a trick or two up its sleeve.

As expected, Game Spot has been keeping an eye on the information for the Nintendo Switch. One of the reasons why so many were motivated to reserve a Nintendo Switch was because one of its release titles is one that many fans have been waiting for: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. For the more casual gamer, 1-2-Switch will be the second title available upon release of the Nintendo Switch. While there are many other games coming to the Nintendo Switch, the ones that seem to be holding most of the fan base at attention are Super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, Fire Emblem Warriors, Snipperclips, Arms and Xenoblade Chronicles 2, each having a small snippet of what's to come during the reveal a few weeks ago. While its numbers are small, its potential still rises, making Nintendo Switch clearly one of the most awaited handheld consoles to come out in years.
