Former "The Bachelor" reality TV star, Chris Soules has reached a settlement with a farmer dating website. Soules' lawsuit argues that the said dating online site allegedly used his image on an online ad without him knowing.

The lawsuit of the 34-year old Iowa man, who appeared in the US dating game show, "The Bachelor" on ABC Network against FarmerOnly.com, a dating online site has been resolved with undisclosed settlement, My LA News.com reported.

Soules' representing lawyer filed the court documents on 22^nd of April, stating the case has been settled. The legal complaint was filed on 26^th of January in Los Angeles Superior Court. According to TMZ, Soules sued the FarmersOnly website after it use his "persona" without its authorization for its online commercial with tagline, "Don't have to be lonely".

However, the "Bachelor" star who failed to find his true love on the said reality TV show said, he could have found romance with the dating site's help, the website claimed. On the shows' 19^th season, Soules choose, Whitney Bischoff however, their relationship did not go well following the 6 months being engaged.

Soules cited on his lawsuit, the commercial use a "silhouetted cowboy" in front of the Hollywood sign, which he claimed, was him. According to Gossip Cop, his legal complaint also alleged misappropriation of his right of publicity because of his popularity in the country.

The Bachelor star believes he's the "lonely man" shown in on the said commercial and alleges the site is making profits out of it. His lawsuit is seeking "unspecified damages" due to the dating site used his background story in order to gain more members on their website.

The FarmersOnly stated on their website that their dating site is the "place for farmers and ranchers to meet like-minded people. One need not only be a farmer to use the dating service." The site also added, it is also for "good old fashioned, down-to-earth people who live in small towns and rural areas."
