Some California lawmakers brought a proposition that further prohibits gun owners' rights within the state. The state legislation aims to more than just permit control from the end of owners but also for fatalities to further ensue along the way.

According to Guns, seven pieces of gun control legislation passed the Senate Public Safety Committee. The committee proposed a ban on ammunition magazines that contain more than a supposed ten rounds.  The involved firearm parties spoke of their supposed take on the implied bill.

As per The Daily Caller, the National Rifle Association Spokeswoman, Amy Hunter, gave her statement via e-mail, and was quoted, "This ban forces manufacturers to reconfigure magazine design in order to satisfy an arbitrary standard set by policy makers instead relying upon the product engineers who designed the firearm originally. It's like putting training wheels on a Harley."

Noted by NBC Los Angeles, the bill further elaborated that anyone who intends to create homemade firearms must undergo a background check. Furthermore they, must apply for a serial number and approved funding to create a firearm violence research center at the University of California.

The people in charge have cordially agreed that in order to keep the streets from being flooded by the irresponsible citizens, such law will prove to be beneficial. California State Senate President Pro Tem Kevin De Leon stated that times have now changed, and given that such weapons are already flooding the streets, putting all enforcement officers as well as citizens at risk, the policy is necessary to step in and act to it as quickly possible.

To add to the said legislation, the committee claims that the passed bill will attempt to go around a court order that prohibits law enforcement from mandating licensed gun sellers to keep records log on purchases of ammunition as well.
