The Mexican government announced that it has changed two of its top envoys who are responsible for US relations. This move was brought about by the increasing tension against Mexicans during the presidential campaign.

Ambassador Carlos Sada, the previous consulate for Los Angeles, was named ambassador to the United States while President Enrique Pena Nieto's communication chief, Paulo Carreno, was appointed as the deputy foreign minister in North America. All these reshuffling, however, must still be under the approval of the senate as per Reuters.

According to Foreign Minister Claudia Ruiz Massieu, they have been warning the Mexican citizens of the increasingly hostile climate. She added that the rhetorics against Mexicans should be treated in a different light in order for the bilateral relationship to be maintained.

Officials of Mexico have been expressing their worries regarding Republican-front runner Donlad Trump's verbal tirades against their country. Trump has been keen in saying that Mexico should be liable to pay for a border wall.

As reported by Politico, during his campaigns, Trump promised to build a giant wall to control the entry of undocumented immigrants from Mexico. Trump called Mexicans in one of his speeches drug dealers and rapists. Trump also threatened that he would ban the US from sending money to Mexico if it will not pay up for the giant wall that he is proposing.

The political leaders in Mexico shook off the idea of paying the US in order to build the said borded. President Enrique Pena Nieto's move in changing his officials are drawn towards a more active and public approach which will be beneficial for his country. According to Bloomberg, Mexico may have the biggest stake but it is not alone as other allies are also bewildered by the issue. Trump has been identifying himself as a top foreign-policy adviser.

On the other hand, the move of Ford Motors to build more cars in Mexico was seen by Trump as an absolute disgrace to the Americans.
