After the success of its predecessor in the box office it is no surprise that Jurassic World 2 is already in the works. Recent speculations suggest that the dinosaurs would return and wreak havoc in London, as they could also be militarized in the upcoming sequel.

As reported by Movie News Guide, sources close to the project revealed that they are eyeing on filming the movie in London. Although it London has not been confirmed to be the official shooting location for the sequel, it is considered as the preferred choice. "London is the preferred choice ... other locations are being considered but a city as historic as London would look immense on the big screen being destroyed by the dinosaurs," the insider stated.

Plot details for the sequel are still under wraps but according to Design N Trend, the sequel could feature the dinosaurs to be used for military purposes. The idea came from director Colin Trevorrow who also explored on the possibility of having other entities in the world who could also make dinosaurs.

Furthermore as reported by Ecumenical News, recent plot theories also state that a war between reptiles and dinosaurs could be in the works for the franchise. However, until official details about the film's progress are revealed, speculations must be treated with a grain of salt.

Bryce Dallas Howard is expected to reprise her role as Claire Dearing who will show a different side to the character in the upcoming sequel. Chris Pratt will also return to reprise his role as the former Jurassic World employee Owen Grady.

J.A. Bayone is rumored to direct the upcoming Jurassic World 2, although, official confirmation about his involvement has not been announced yet. More details about the project will be reported as it inches closer to its June 22, 2018 release date.
