Samsung Galaxy S5 phones now received upgrade support for Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow via KLU1CPC3 custom ROM. This ROM brings powerhouse features and tweaks that will make the device killer once again.

KLU1CPC3 custom ROM has been unlocked to Samsung Galaxy S5 phones with model number G900L. The ROM is proven to run stable, fast and smooth. KLU1CPC3 comes with a host of unique custom features on top of some originals.

To ensure customer responsibility over the device, Galaxy S5 owners interested to proceed with the upgrade are advised to install the ROM at their own risk as it may damage device. Such damage cannot be held against this site or the ROM's developers.

Below are the prerequisites of installing ROMs:

1.     Do not use this ROM to any device not prescribed.

3.     Back up all necessary data here. Samsung KIES can also be used for backup.

Here is a step-by-strep guide to download and install KLU1CPC3 to Samsung Galaxy S5 G900L:

1.     Download Android 6.0.1 KLU1CPC3 here and extract the zip file.

2.     Download Odin v3.09 here.

3.     Turn off phone.

4.     Go to Download mode by press holding volume down and home buttons together.

5.     Press the power button twice.

6.     Open Odin on the PC.

7.     Once connected, wait for the ID:COM boxes to turn into yellow with the COM port number.

8.     Select the files to be flashed or installed on the phone.

9.     In Odin, check the Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time options.

10.  Click the Start button for begin installation.

11.  Wait until the installation is completed.

To check the software version, go to Settings > About phone.
