The latest in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 seemingly has the fans' ears rattling, as successful as the Awakening content has become. Very little to no peeps have been known from the second one, though Treyarch has not been very vocal with the second one thereof.
It was delivered by Christian Today that after Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's Awakening downloadable content for the next generation consoles, rumors of the next expansion have been circulating around the web. The company is reported to also follow a certain protocol before the continuity comes forth, in which Treyarch is yet to confirm.
As per HNGN, no date has been disclosed for the next expansion yet because of a certain clause that there should be a thirty-day launch gap in between hardware-specific downloadable contents. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 may be closing in on the next one, rumored to be entitled Ignition. An example is the Awakening downloadable content pack, which was released for the PlayStation 4 last February 2 and further launched the PC and Xbox One version last March 3rd.
According to App Trigger, the features of the said downloadable contents are also still in question but is speculated upon to have new episodes for the Zombie mode similar to the Awakening. There is also a rampant rumor that new weapons, skins and old maps from the previous titles will be added to the mix. So far, fans are still waiting for more news regarding the downloadable content as the Game Developers Conference 2016 still has one more day to go before it concludes.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is set to have downloadable contents for the entire year, divided in quarters. The speculated Ignition DLC is rumored to be seen or heard of come April; whereas other rumors claim that it could be launched then and there.
