'Supernatural' Season 11 Spoilers: Dean and Sam to solve a cold case from season 5

EP Jeremy Carver teased that the upcoming episode of "Supernatural" Season 11 will pick up an unsolved case from Season 5. Series executive producer Jeremy Carver teased that the upcoming episode of "Supernatural" Season 11 will be picking up a cold case from season 5. According to International Business Times, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) will be trying to solve an old case that had been once investigated by Bobby Singer (guest star Jim Beaver) and Rufus Turner (guest star Steven Williams).

Carver also pointed out that fans should expect many season 5 throwbacks in the future episodes of this season that will lead to a wonderful relationship between Sam and Dean.

As for the official synopsis of episode 16, Spoilers Guide notes, "A dangerous creature is accidentally released into an old house, attacking a mother and her child, leaving them both in a coma. Sam and Dean learn that Bobby and Rufus once tracked the same entity so the Winchesters look to the past to come up with a plan to catch the monster before any one dies."

For a quick recap of "Supernatural" Season 11 episode 15 "Beyond The Mat", Den of Geek reported that Dean and Sam decided to take a break and attended the funeral of their childhood favorite wrestler. Suddenly, when another wrestler's death resurfaced, the Winchesters quickly went back to work.

"Supernatural" Season 11 Episode 16 is entitled as "Safe House". The upcoming episode is scheduled to premiere on March 23, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. exclusively on The CW.
