Marvel's "Agent Carter" season 3 is highly likely to be axed by ABC due to the low household ratings and viewership performance of its previous season, and lead actress Hayley Atwell revealed that she already signed on a new ABC series "Conviction". Also, the season 2 finale episode is made available here for fans who have missed to watch it.

Cancellation looms for Marvel's "Agent Carter" Season 3 since the sophomore season received a steady decline of household ratings and viewership performance. According to Comic Book, the finale episode only garnered an average number of 2.5 million viewers and received a 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic. Season 2 had a healthy start garnering 6.9 million viewers however, the number of viewers plummeted week by week.

In addition, lead actress Hayley Atwell admitted via Den of Geek that she already signed on a new ABC series. The 33-year-old actress stated "They [ABC] said that in the same sentence when they offered me 'Conviction' which I was flattered to get. But they also said this doesn't actually mean anything yet for 'Agent Carter'. So we're just out in limbo in that respect. All I can do at the moment is just focus on the pilot that I have to start filming 2 weeks from now and do the best that I can with that."
