Naughty Dog's possible The Last of Us 2 may be shedding some light of hope recently care of the development team themselves. Not much has been known about the title, let alone proven accurate, but fans of the first ever game are literally dying to get more out of Naughty Dog; and the claims may just have been heard.

As per Jobs and Hire, Naughty Dog seemingly teases fans more as the days go by before the much anticipated launch of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End in the consoles. With it, rumors are spreading that the undeniably popular idea of The Last of Us 2 may no longer be an impossibility.

According to Ecumenical News, the relative game Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is closing in on its launch date, namely April 26th of this year. Because of it, some have speculated that Naughty Dog will be announcing the existence of The Last of Us 2, as well as a possible release date. Contributory to this factor is the reality that Naughty Dog's team will no longer work on another Uncharted title; as the fourth is the last one, and that the free time will allow the team to focus on the second expansion.

Master Herald delivered that The Last of Us 2 has a whole lot of ideas surrounding it in terms of plot, given that the original proved a significantly admirable story against the other zombie survival titles. For the second installment, fans debate on the fact whether the lead character of the first, Joel, is still wanted for the continuity. This is also the result of the guess that Ellie, the notable female character of the first, will take on a story of her own after the ending that The Last of Us came up with.

No certainty has been laid out for the appearance of The Last of Us 2 after April 26th, which is the designated release date for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. However, fans are urged by Naughty Dog to stay put for further announcements that may arise for the said series.
