The HTC One X9 that was first seen in China last December 2015 has been officially revealed at the MWC 2016 in Barcelona featuring a sleek all-metal casing.

According to Tech Times, the HTC X9 comes in an all-brushed metal design, following HTC's new metal design techniques. The company's goal is to create beautifully crafted smartphones. Users will have the option of choosing colors ranging from carbon grey, opal silver, topaz gold and copper rose colors.

The HTC X9 comes with a 5.5 inch full HD display and a 1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution. It may not be at par with the QHD displays of other phones because of the fact that the X9 is just a mid-range smartphone of HTC.

On the hardware department,  X9 uses a Mediatek Helio X10 octa-core processor coupled with a 3GB RAM which assures users of a quick response when browsing from one app to the other. According to Android Authority, X9 runs HTC's UI via Android's latest v6.0 Marshmallow. It uses the same UI as the A9 to allow users to streamline their experience via the same One series phones of the company.

The device also has a 32GB internal memory which will be expandable to up to a whopping 2TB via external microSD card slot. The device is also be powered by a large 3000 mAh battery.

Camera-wise, the X9 sport a 13-megapixel main shooter which can record 4K videos. The camera also has an optical mage stabilization with an aperture of f/2.0 and a focal length of 27.9mm. On the front, the device has a 5 megapixel camera with special software application for selfies.

Above the X9's impressive features is the addition of the BoomSound speakers, a feature that was missing in the A9. The design of the speaker is unlike its predecessor, but it still provides a nice and rich sound, as per Phandroid.

According to HTC, X9 will be available anytime this month which will include releases in North America and the EMEA region. The pricing for the device will play at around $370.
