Republicans presidential candidate Ted Cruz promised he would get rid of immigrants that are illegally living in the United States. Cruz proclaimed that he would build barriers and reinforce the country's stand against these illegal invaders.

These comments were heard during a meeting right after Cruz publicly fired his main spokesperson for a misleading social media post which involves his rival Marco Rubio. Rubio, on the other hand, won the hearts of prominent Republicans as he sought to become the standard bearer against mainstream candidate Donald Trump, according to Reuters.

When asked on how he will manage the 12 million illegal immigrants that occupy the country, Cruz said that he will have to enforce the law by building walls and strengthening the border patrol. He added saying that the federal law requires that anyone who illegally resides in the US should be deported.

When asked if he would do what Donald Trump would also do, he replied and by saying "of course [he] would, that's what ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) exist for." He added that it is the reason why they have law enforcements that look for people that violate the law, as reported by Washington Post.

According to Yahoo, the state of Nevada has been constantly dependent on a steady arrival of overseas tourist. This tourist represents 28 percent Latino, 9 percent Asian-American which also leads the country's statistics on illegal immigrants living which is based on the steady of the Pew Hispanic Center. They added that this immigrant helped Obama win the elections. This is attributed to the Republicans hardline position with regards to immigration

Cruz constantly panned Rubio for accepting a sweeping immigration bill he characterized as amnesty. The Republicans is pressured by these issues due to Trump's tougher stance against illegal immigrants.
