Apple Inc.'s March event is just around the corner and as the occasion nears, a lot of speculations about the highlighted devices are surfacing. Recently, it was predicted that the iPad Air 3 and iPhone 5se will feature A9X and A9 SoC chipset, respectively.

NDTV Gadgets reported that the A9 and the A9X (tablet) SoCs that are expected to power the iPhone 5se and iPad Air are currently residing only in iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, and iPad Pro models. A fresh statement suggests that for the first time, Apple will choose the EMI (electromagnetic interference) shield technology to be used on a variety of its chips on the upcoming iPhone 7.

It was also rumored that Wistron along with Foxconn will be the primary suppliers of Apple's much-anticipated iPhone 5se. Additionally, Apple intends to separate its orders to different ODMs to avoid risks and Wistron has been reported to get small portion of the 4-inch iPhone orders from the Cupertino-based company this year.

Aside from the A9 chipset, Vine Report stated that the iPhone 5se also inherits a few other specifications from the iPhone 6s, such as an integrated NFC chip for Apple Pay, as well as support for Live Photo. The most notable feature of the upcoming device from Apple is the 4-inch display. This handset is expected to be available in gold, rose gold, silver, and space gray variety of colors.

In addition,  iPhone 5se will sport an M9 motion co-processor that will work along with the A9 chipset. The device will be armed with an 8MP rear-facing snapper and a front-facing 1.2MP shooter for selfies and FaceTime. Lastly, the iPhone 5se will also come with always-on Siri feature.

On the other hand, the iPad Air 3 is a 9.7-inch tablet that is expected to have four speakers to bring its audio quality up to iPad Pro's level. It is also believed to be armed with a Smart Connector for accessories like a Smart Keyboard. Users can expect a rear camera flash to this tablet, but not 3D Touch technology. Nonetheless, it will be armored with a pressure-sensitive display from the iPhone 6s.

As the March event of Apple Inc. is very imminent, a lot of speculations and predictions are still expected to surface. But fans of the company is advised to take this information with skepticism and  wait until the American tech giant confirms every detail about the iPad Air 3 and iPhone 5se soon.
