'NCIS' Season 13: DiNozzo, Jeanne to have a one-night stand? [Spoiler]

Taye Diggs joins "NCIS" Season 13 to play as a wounded sniper who serves as witness to the Iraq ambush murder case. Special Agent DiNozzo also pays an all-nighter visit to his ex-girlfriend Jeanne eventhough she's already married. Also, CBS has released the official plot description for episode 16 entitled, 'Loose Cannons'.

Taye Diggs has been cast for "NCIS" Season 13 to portray a pivotal and musical role. According to IB Times, the 45-year-old American broadway musical actor is set to play as the Marine Gunnery Seargent Aaron Davis. Aaron will be introduced as a special operations sniper who was severely injured and suffers extreme post-traumatic stress after an ambush attack in Iraq. He also happens to be a free-spirited musician who becomes a wounded sniper.

The NCIS team will meet Aaron in rehab to investigate the ambush murder case as recovers himself under the music therapy program provided by Walter Reed Medical Center. Diggs' character will debut in the March 15 episode which also marks as the 300th episode of the CBS drama series.

In addition, lead actor Michael Weatherly who plays the role of Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo will be reuniting with his former girlfriend Jeanne Benoit (Scottie Thompson) in the upcoming episode. TV Line reported that DiNozzo pays Jeanne an all-nighter visit while chasing a lead of Sudan doctors despite the fact that she is married.

As for the official synopsis of episode 16, Spoilers Guide notes, "Doctor Cyril Taft (Jon Cryer) experiences the rush of an NCIS case after he is assigned surgical duty to Leroy Jethro Gibbs' (Mark Harmon) suspect and finds key evidence. Also, DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) pays Doctor Jeanne Benoit a visit as he chases a lead involving doctors in Sudan."

"NCIS" Season 13 Episode 16 is entitled as "Loose Cannons". The forthcoming episode is scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. exclusively on CBS.

"NCIS" is an American police procedural drama TV series created by Donald P. Bellisario and Don McGill. The storyline follows the fictional team of special agents from the Naval Crime Investigative Service which conducts criminal investigations in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
