The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update brings an improved Sense UI to the HTC One M9 Sprint for faster and more stable performance. The rumored HTC One M10 is expected to run Marshmallow out of the box.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow has come to the HTC One M9 under Sprint, reported TechnoBuffalo. It offers an enhanced version of Sense to make the One M9 faster and more stable. The update also gives an improvement to the battery life of the One M9. It is available as an OTA update with build number 3.4.1.651.3.

The Marshmallow update for the One M9 was announced by the HTC Product Management Vice President Mo Versi. However, the upgrade is only available for One M9 users who brought their phones from Sprint. Marshmallow arrived to the One M9 Sprint a month after rolling out to unlocked variants.

Reports indicate that HTC One M8 devices in the UK will be getting Marshmallow. In an earlier report, Lawyer Herald said that Android 6.0 Marshmallow has started to reach the HTC One M8 in Asia and the One M9 in Canada. Marshmallow is believed to be the last software update for the One M8. Meanwhile, One M9 units from Canadian carriers Sasktel, WindMobile, Rogers, and Videotron have also begun receiving the Marshmallow update.

As for the other HTC devices like the One M9+, One ME, One E8, One E9, One M8 EYE, Desire 816, Desire 826, Desire 820, and Butterfly 3, it is yet to be revealed if these will be upgraded to Marshmallow. According to an anonymous HTC developer, the Desire EYE will get the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update in the future.

Android Authority reported that the rumored next-generation HTC One M10 will allegedly run Android 6.0 Marshmallow topped with Sense UI. The upcoming HTC flagship is believed to feature the same design as the HTC One A9. There has been much debate on whether the phone will come with a 5.2" or a larger 5.5" QHD display.

Earlier leaks revealed that the HTC One M10 will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor. No definite timeframe has been set for the One M10's release. Some speculate that the device will be launched at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 this coming February 22-25 in Barcelona, Spain.
