North Korea has then again engaged in a rocket test fire. This incident had the United Nations Security Council on its heels and promised to take disciplinary steps against the dictator-headed country.

Rafael Dario Ramirez Carreno, the Venezuelan Ambassador, said that the members of the council strongly disapproves North Korea's actions and had taken serious violations against them. He stipulated that the council will create new rules and regulations regarding this recent activity by North Korea.

US Ambassador Samantha Power said that the council will regulate stricter laws and will bring about serious penalties regarding the recent incident. Both U.S and China are now deliberating new resolutions to extend the power of the UN to impose sanctions. Power expected a quick draft to the resolution to be voted as fast as possible. She added that these resolutions are urgent and overdue.

In a report, Power said that she is hopeful that China and all other members of the council will see the ill effect of North Korea's action to peace and security the world over. He added that it is very important to think of a tougher and unique measures to address this kind of problems.

Ambassadors from Japan, South Korea, Britain and France are closely working together with Washington regarding discussions with China, while the latter is also with talking terms with its closest ally, Russia.  Motohide Yoshikawa, Japanese ambassador firmly hopes that the draft that will be made will have a stronger implications against Pyongyang.

The recent missile launch by North Korea is foreseen to increase the international pressure on its biggest investor, China. Afraid of Kim's regime crashing, China had been  mediocre when it comes to implementing sanctions against North Korea. In an interview, Foreign Minister Wang Yi said they will maintain strategic composure and play a constructive role in seeking solutions to the protruding problem. Experts believe that it would be Chinas next move that would definitely place North Korea in a tighter position.
