A man named Rhys Trevor Anthony Hobbs appeared at Swansea Magistrates Court last Wednesday morning for allegedly murdering Andrea Lewis. The victim was found dead in her home at Neath, South Wales.

According to The Guardian, Hobbs went to the court to only confirm his name before Roger Smith, the presiding magistrate, ordered his imprisonment. Hobbs, who is from Tonna, will appear again at the court on Friday.

It was last Saturday at around 8 o'clock in the morning when the police were called to a house in Fairyland Road, Tonna where they discovered the 51-year-old woman's body. Investigations are still ongoing to look deeper into the victim's death, said South Wales Evening Post.

As for Detective Chief Inspector Kath Pritchard, she contests that a 46-year-old man was also arrested, aside from Hobbs, in line with the murder of Lewis.  However, this suspect is currently on police bail.

Pritchard also stated that while there have been suspects arrested for the incident, she would still like to hear from anyone who might have some information regarding any suspicious act around the Fairyland Road area. Some information that could be of assistance to the police regarding Lewis' death would also be very much welcomed.

"Our thoughts remain with Andrea's family and they continue to be updated and supported by a specially trained family liaison officer," she added.

As for the Lewis family, they are devastated by the loss of a family member, Wales Online reported. They also expressed how they would really miss the victim. Lewis was a mother of two who was very much loved and adored by her loved ones.
